22nd December 2011.

Its nearly christmas only 3 days to go. Managed to finnish up all my manicure logs formative and sumative on Monday, quite proud of my self now that iv got that of my shoulders. Tuesday i did my first log for bikini in my waxing class and did a log for underarms which didnt go so smoothly, have to practice more in waxing as that my weakness, i also got my eyebrows waxed and we also got to leave after we had finnished what we had to do. Today were just updating our blogs as theres only 2 of us in today even tho we finnish at 11 today, we get to go home so thats quite good, Looking forward to christmas and i hope everyone has a verry merry christmas and a happy new year! :)

24th November..

Been learning more about anatomy today, on tuesday we had a class observer was quite nerve racking as she was just sitting there watching everything, but im glad it whent well for my lecturer as shes good at what she does (: she must of been nervous too. Last day new block starts tomoro and iv still not finnished all my logs but ill get there in thee end im shure (: Got facials tomoro cant wait weve been learning how tint eyebrows and eyelashes which is pretty easy :) just going to do some my home work tonight and finnish my project which has to be handed in on monday we have to find out about a cosmetic brand and how they started ect... so shall be a piece of cake me thinks :)

17th November..

Been trying to get all my log books for waxing and manicure uptodate before the 25th. Hopefully ill get it finnished as im starting my new block soon which is including nail art and we have been learning about anatomy  and physology had to do my test for it there dont think iv passed tho its quite hard and alot to take in so going to have to really study. Excited for the nail art in the next block tho, should be fun and i prefare doing nails, we also had our introuduction about the new products we will be using they sound pretty good except some of them dont smell too good aha but we'll live (:

Essential skills day WAYHEY! Just updating my blogg, feeling im getting better at waxing slowly but shurely. Pure love these days where you can just wear your own clothes, feels great and we are only in till 11am! Happy days. Cant wait for october holidays which is this monday coming, will be off for a week wooo!
Gonna do some study through it tho & do some polishes to get my formatives for monday morning classes complete so i can move on to my summitives plus practice makes perfect if i do say so my self :')

Essential skills again, I think im getting abit better at waxing tho i hope so thats tuesdays class with Angela, Hopefully ill get the hang of it soon like, finding it hard to put the wax on thin and smooth. Tomoro we have facials with Ann which i enjoy also close to the weekend YAY!

Today in essential skills we were discussing things that we could do as a team that like fundrasing for a charity for example yorkhill hospital, beauty treatments on the students or doing a sponsered walk or something like that. We havent properly decide yet as a class what were gonna be doing yet but hopefully we will soon, im quite excited i think it'll be alot of fun to be honest and its something diffrent! (:

Started college at 9.OOam today with Pat our lecturer for Essential Skills. We went down to the libary to set up this blogging blogger thing with Lyndsay YAY! The other half of the class is at the salon reception doing reception skills, we will be going there soon better pack our bags as we will be leaving soon and our class end at 11.OOam WOOOOOOOS!
